Griffin CinemaSeat for iPad

Accessory for popular tablet helps back seat passengers watch films and play games

Griffin CinemaSeat for iPad

Price: £29.99

Passengers will be fighting for the back seat of your car, not the front, if you have this new Apple iPad mount! The Griffin CinemaSeat wraps around the headrest, and it helps to keep occupants entertained by letting them use their tablet as they travel.

We slotted our iPad into the grey case, and were impressed by the narrow border – this enables you to see right to the edge of the screen. The padded frame holds the device securely, and there’s no film covering the screen, so you’re free to swipe and scroll as normal.

Holes in the case allow easy access to the main multifunction button, and there are gaps to plug in a charger, connect your headphones and adjust the volume controls. Also, a pocket on the back holds small accessories, although you can’t get to it when the case is mounted.

The wide Velcro strap will fit around most headrests. Our main concern was that the hold/lock button was hidden by the case. And at £29.99, it’s quite expensive.

Verdict

Rating: ★★★★
