Spautopia Valeting Towel

Price: £12.00 Contact: 01780 721460, www.spautopia.co.uk

When using a chamois, it’s all too easy to run out of dry patches of cloth to continue wiping your motor.

However, with generous proportions of 90x60cm, Spautopia reckons that the only problem you’ll have with its new Valeting Towel is working out how to hold it!

The maker says that, unlike with other leathers, you need to wring it out only once or twice to dry an entire vehicle. Aswith other products, it’s best used damp, and being machine washable, it’s claimed to last a lifetime. Just follow the simple washing instructions which are sewn into the label.

The special non-scratch, fibre-free construction should mean it will leave no water spots or streaks after drying. And as a bonus, it works on glass, too, and is claimed to remove dried-on insects.

We’ll be putting it to the test shortly to see if these claimed drying credentials mean an end to polishing and waxing your car.

 * Maker’s claim: “The Spautopia Valeting Towel is super-absorbent and leaves an unrivalled finish.”
