This pack of two, two-channel headphones complete with IR transmitter manages to combine a light weight with top build quality and great style. There was no case and the phones didn’t fold, but the sound was superb, with the bass response being particularly impressive. Although the price looks steep, when you compare the Alpine set with like-for-like rivals, it’s superb value for money – and that seals its place as our Best Buy.
