Silva’s “intelligent light” is the secret of this new design’s success, as the two LEDs deliver not just a great distance beam, but plenty of width, too. Only the LED Lenser came close to the superb spread of light that put rivals in the shade. There are power saving and flash modes, plus a grippy strip inside the comfortable strap. Top performance, but at a price.
