Just half a beam rating point separated these two bulbs, produced by Alite. The excellent build quality meant that we didn’t need to adjust the headlight between the two tests. The glare cut-off was sharp and the beam focus tight and bright. It was almost enough to steal the win from Philips, and for many drivers the price difference will make the ultraxenon more attractive.
