Our pick of the three-tonne jacks. Long and wide, it’s stable and has a solid feel compared to the small units on test. The long cranked handle makes lifting the easiest of all the jacks here, plus there’s a good range from around 130mm up to its 440mm maximum. It also boasts a decent-sized saddle to spread the load. It needs a lot of pumps to reach full height, although it’s still great value at around £10 more than much less capable rivals.
