As soon as you pick up a Dremel, you can feel that it’s a cut above the competition. You pay for that quality, but this 3000 gets closest to rivals’ prices – making it an option for DIY enthusiasts. Fewer accessories are included than in most units and there’s no wire brush, although it does include the excellent SpeedClic cutting discs, which ripped through our tests with no sign of breaking.
