Aston Martin’s Le Mans challenge

Gaydon firm announces 2010 driver line-up for all-out race win attempt.

Aston Martin will field two of its spectacular Gulf-liveried LMP1 prototypes at this year’s French event. And now the driver line-ups for its Le Mans victory attempt have been announced.

Back the Auto Express at Le Mans 2010

The #007 car be driven by experienced hands Adrian Fernandez, Stefan Mucke and Harold Primat - the trio that scored third place in this year's Sebring 12 Hours.

Meanwhile, the #009 car will feature a new roster of drivers, headed by Aston regular Darren Turner. The Brit has been driving with the Young Driver AMR Aston squad in the GT1 World Championship and with JMW's GT2 Aston in the Le Mans Series. But now he’s set for Le Mans with two new teammates, Sam Hancock and Juan Barazi

Hancock is a regular in the Porsche Carrera Cup while Barazi is a former LMS champion and more regularly races an LMP2 car for his own Barazi-Epsilon team.
