If you need more storage space for your saloon or convertible, and a roof box isn’t an option, you’ll like the new Boot Bag.

The soft holdall has been around in one form or another since 2005. But this MkIV version is all-new, and features two very important improvements.

Firstly, it’s waterproof, as it’s constructed from PVC-coated nylon, and the zips have a flap on either side to prevent water from leaking through. Secondly, it no longer has any metal fixings, so it can’t scratch your car’s paintwork.

Even so, to make sure the holdall doesn’t damage your car, there’s an anti-slip mat which you lay down on the surface before connecting the straps through the hinges.

Two versions are available: the 50-litre Original and the 75-litre Vacation, which comes with a larger mat.

To prevent any confusion, the MkIV model is now the only type of bag you can buy from the company.
