Casio has released three new watches in its motorsport-inspired Edifice range.

The EFB-503SBD is the most stylish choice in the range, and costs £275. It has silver hour indicators – which contrast with its black face – thin hands and a smart metal strap. It’s also water resistant to 10 bar of pressure.

For the same price, you can buy the chunky EFM-500SDB, which is intended for more rugged use. This watch is water resistant to 20 bar and comes with a built-in stopwatch, which is accurate to one-fifth of a second. It has

a matt black dial, as well as much larger hands than the thin ones on the EFB-503SBD. Finally, there’s the £500 EQW-A1110DB, which Casio claims is for fans of technology.

It features a solid, chunky look, with an uncluttered face. It also comes fitted with a stopwatch, although this one will time splits to within a 20th of a second. The EQW-A1110DB has a clock alarm function, too.
