This offering from nationwide retailer Homebase is the cheapest spray gun on test, and it feels it. Surprisingly, the Qualcast Spray Gun offers the most functions here – 10 in total. Trouble is, the spray lock is really fiddly, and you need to use your fingernail to prise it from the back of the chamber. There’s text to explain the spray patterns, but this is trickier to read than on the Draper or Kent.
