Clio Renaultsport 200

Talented Clio gets a facelift and an extra 3bhp!

One of our favourite hot hatches has just got even better! Sitting below the more powerful Megane Renaulsport in the range, the Clio has recieved a refreshed front end and a few mechanical tweaks to keep it ahead of the competition.

The manic 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine now delivers it's peak power of 197bhp slightly lower in the rev range, while managing to emit less CO2 than before.

Customers can choose between a Sport or Cup chassis - the latter firm's up the ride, ditches some of the equipment and saves 36kg for a power-to weight ratio of 164bhp/tonne.

There's no word on price yet, but expect the Clio to offer exceptional value for money when it goes on sale in May.
