2015 makeover for the Honda CR-V SUV: prices and specs
Refreshed CR-V SUV range starts at £22,340, rising to £35,620. Arriving at dealers in March
Honda has announced pricing and details for its new CR-V range ahead of the facelifted model arriving in dealerships in March. The Mazda CX-5 rival will start at £22,340 for the two-wheel drive 2.0-litre i-VTEC S (the same price as the outgoing model), while the range tops out at £35,620.
Base 'S' spec CR-V gets daytime running lights and 17-inch alloys for the exterior. Inside there is dual-zone climate control, cruise control, electric heated mirrors, hill-start assist, the i-MID display and USB connectivity. Jump up £2,170 to SE for auto wipers and lights, a leather wheel and gearknob, front and rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera and the Honda CONNECT infotainment system with an HDMI connection and extra speakers.
For an extra £4,080, SR trim brings satellite navigation, leather and Alcantara interior and heated front seats, ambient lighting, high-power audio, Bi-xenon lights with active cornering function, privacy glass and 18-inch alloys. Top-spec EX versions get keyless smart entry, electric memory drivers seat, full leather, a power tailgate and a panoramic glass roof.
The 118bhp version of the 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine adds £1,060 to CR-V prices, while the 158bhp version of the same engine adds £4,170 as it's only available in mid-spec SE trim and above, with four-wheel drive. Sending power to all four wheels is an £1,100 option on other models, while the new nine-speed automatic gearbox is £1,500.
The British-built CR-V range is available to order now, with the first models arriving at dealers in March.
