Volkswagen Das WeltAuto used car scheme

All the key info on the Volkswagen Das WeltAuto used car scheme

In Volkswagen’s words, its Das WeltAuto programme “gives the same exceptional experience as a new car purchase”. That’s not a unique claim, but VW has tried for years to beat its rivals in owner satisfaction surveys, so you’d hope it would do the same for its used buyers.

VW claims there are eight key benefits to its scheme, including a 142-point pre-sale check, a 12-month/unlimited mileage warranty and five days’ insurance cover. Also in there are independent checks on the car’s history and mileage, and a guarantee that the car has only been maintained by a VW franchise. A no-quibble exchange policy and flexible finance are offered, too.
