Bentley Mulsanne
This takes the Brit firm back to what it knows best; a big, powerful, luxury car designed, engineered and built entirely in Crewe.

An all-new platform replaces the outgoing Arnage’s borrowed Rolls- Royce chassis. It is 30cm longer and rides on air-suspension. And while the styling may be controversial, there’s no denying the Mulsanne has a sense of grandness that rivals simply can’t match.

Power comes from the tried-and-tested twin-turbo 6.75-litre V8, updated to boost economy and emissions. It puts out 505bhp plus a huge 1,020Nm of torque. With 114 paint schemes, 21 carpets, nine wood veneers and 24 leathers to choose from, and more than 400 hand-built hours going into each car, the quality and attention to detail should justify the £220,000 price tag.

The first cars will be delivered in the summer, while a long-wheelbase variant will be announced in the coming months.
